Fact Check
The claim is false.
NewsMeter performed a Google reverse image search after taking screengrabs from the video. We found videos with similar visuals on Twitter and YouTube from January and May 2021. A Twitter user who shared the video wrote, "Indian Army BM-21 Grad #MBRL in action during recent exercise." The YouTube videos also mentioned "Indian Army BM-21 Grad".
The videos can be viewed here, here, and here.
Taking a cue from this, we searched for news reports and found a video report published by India TV on 22 October 2019. It was titled "Indian Army and IAF hold joint military exercise in Pokhran, Rajasthan". The viral clipping can be seen around the 09:41 mark. This proves that the viral video is old.
It is therefore evident that the claim made through the viral post is false. An old video is widely being shared after India's decision not to accept China's illegal occupation of Indian territory.
