Users claim he was thrashed because he was celebrating the victory of Pakistan in the T20 match.

The description of the video read, "Stone pelters are being taught a lesson in Kashmir." The visuals of the viral video can be seen from 2:07 minutes.
The team found that the video was uploaded on another YouTube channel 'Baba Creative' on July 19, 2017. It is a longer version of the viral video. In the video, officials are seen questioning the main. He pleads that he had put up the video by mistake and starts apologizing.
