Fact Check

The claim is false.

NewsMeter extracted keyframes from the video and performed a reverse image search. This led us to a video published by India Today in April 2019 along with a report titled "Two groups of BJP workers clash in Ajmer rally".

The report said two groups of BJP workers clashed during a rally in Masuda in Rajasthan's Ajmer district. It said, "The clash was reported on April 11 when polling in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections was underway." It also shared an ANI tweet that read, "#WATCH Rajasthan: Two groups of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers clash during a rally in Masuda, Ajmer. (11/4/19)"

The fight took place in Ajmer, Rajasthan, in 2019 during a rally. The same was also reported by Mirror Now, Dainik Jagran, and Lokmat Hindi. Dainik Jagran reported that a clash broke out between Naveen Kumar and Bhavar Singh during an election campaign of BJP candidate Bhagirath Chaudhary in Masuda.

It is clear that the video shows a clash between two groups of BJP workers in 2019 during an election rally in Ajmer. It does not show people beating up BJP workers at the recent Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Rajasthan. Hence, the claim is false.
