The text on the image claims the COVID centre was built by the RSS and can accommodate 6,000 beds along with four oxygen plants. It occupies 45 acres of land, it further claims.

Fact Check

The claim is false as the viral image is of Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar.

NewsMeter did a reverse image search and found many similar pictures which directed us to a Qatar Tribune report published on 24 July 2019 with the headline "Al Bayt Stadium comes to life".

This proves that the viral image is of the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar.

Since the image mentioned the RSS, NewsMeter did a keyword search to find the largest COVID care centre in Indore that was reportedly shown in the viral post.

We found a report by News18 published on 22 April 2021 that said Indore was getting the country's second-largest modern COVID care centre with 6,200 beds.

According to the report, "A high-tech COVID care centre has been established in Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital Indore which is in the midst of a massive coronavirus crisis. With an initial capacity of 600 beds, the facility could be enhanced to 6,200 beds, if needed. The centre will cater to the asymptomatic patients based on the recommendation of the 'Rapid Response Teams'. The facility, based in Bhawarkuan area, sprawls on 45-acre land inside Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan."

The report further said that the COVID-19 centre will primarily cater to patients who don't have respiratory issues. However, some beds were fitted with oxygen concentrators in case patients witnessed plummeting oxygen levels. "In case, any patient's condition deteriorates, the person will be shifted to the nearest dedicated COVID care hospital where beds will be reserved for the patients referred from this facility," it said.

However, the news report did not mention that the COVID-19 centre was built by the RSS.

Evidently, the image that has gone viral claiming to show the COVID care centre at Indore built by the RSS is of the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar. Hence, the claims are false.
