Fact Check: Prabhas seen without wig at RajaSaab promotions? No, image has been manipulated
The image claims to show Telugu actor Prabhas without a wig at a ‘The RajaSaab’ promotional event at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad.

Fact:The claim is false. In the viral photo, Prabhas’ face was superimposed on another person using a ‘face manipulation’ tool.
Hyderabad: A photo taken at a movie promotional event claiming to show Telugu actor Prabhas’ ‘real appearance’ is going viral on social media.
In the purported image, Prabhas can be seen in an orange outfit. He has bald patches on his head, which is an unusual public appearance for the actor.

In the frame, we can see actress Nidhhi Agerwal, director Maruti Dasari and music director Thaman standing with the actor.
Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the claim is false. In the viral photo, Prabhas’ face was superimposed on another person using a ‘face manipulation’ tool.
Did Prabhas attend a song launch event of Raja Saab?
Using the information in the post’s caption, we found that ‘The Raja Saab’ is a movie starring Prabhas and Nidhhi Agerwal, directed by Maruthi and is set to release in 2026. A song release event for the movie took place at the Lulu Mall in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, on December 18.
However, we did not find any news reports confirming that actor Prabhas has attended the event. No images or videos show the Telugu actor at the song release in Lulu Mall.
Source of the image
Using reverse image search of the viral image, we found a similar photo shared by the X account ‘rajasaabmovie’. The image is the same as the viral image, except the person in the orange outfit is not Prabhas.
Keyword searches have led us to a video uploaded by TV9 on December 17 with the title, ‘Producer TG Vishwa Prasad Speech | #SahanaSahana Song Launch Event - TV9’.
From the video, it is confirmed that the person from the viral image is the movie producer TG Vishwa Prasad, who was in the same orange outfit. In his speech, he spoke about updates regarding the movie.
This confirmed that the viral image has been tampered with.
Analysis of the viral image
A side-by-side comparison of the viral image and the image from the X account revealed many similarities to prove that both are the same.
The position of confetti around the people in the image, Nidhhi Agerwal’s hand placement and expression on her face, the placement of the camera at the bottom left and lens glare prove that both images are the same, except for the face of the person wearing the orange outfit.
This proved that Prabhas' face has been superimposed on the person using an image manipulation tool.
Sight Engine, an AI detector, determined the image is 37 per cent likely to contain ‘Face Manipulation’.
Therefore, NewsMeter concludes that the viral claim is false.
