NewsMeter performed a Google reverse image search that led us to a video uploaded on the YouTube channel "3rd eye" on 9 April 2022. The video was titled, "BE CAREFUL WITH STRANGERS UNBELIEVABLE THINGS CAUGHT AT CCTV Social Awareness Video By 3rd Eye."
At the end of the video is a disclaimer that reads, "This reel life footage is published only for the purpose of entertaining the public by making them understand how the real world situations will be and picturized to educate the public. Characters in this video are for entertainment and education purpose (sic)."
It is evident that the claim made through the viral post is false. The viral video is not of a real incident but a scripted, awareness video.
