Fact Check

The claim is misleading.

NewsMeter firstly performed a keyword search which led us to a report by Navbharat Times published on June 22, 2020. According to the report, Shehnaaz Gill, who was seen in 'Bigg Boss 13', was also shocked by Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide and started crying during Instagram Live. Actually, Shahnaz was recently chatting live with the fans on her Instagram account.

During this, she talked about Sushant and became emotional expressing grief over the death of the actor. "The life of an artist is very difficult. We should not go ourselves; we should go when the time comes. Life should be lived as much as there is," she said.

We found many other similar reports published by `Celebrity Tadka', `Telly Chakkar' and `Spotboye'.

This video was also shared by several YouTube channels including `Hungama', `Telly Masala' and `Bollywood TV' after late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

It is therefore evident that is Misleading. The viral video of emotional Shehnaaz Gill was shot after Sushant Singh Rajput's death and not after Sidharth Shukla's demise.
