To find out the veracity of the picture, we took the help of Google reverse image search. In the search, we found the profile of a woman named Hemisha Thakkar on Twitter, in which she is wearing a Kurti exactly like Priyanka Chaturvedi.
We put both the photos together and checked the similarities. We found that both the photos are exactly the same except for the face.
After that, using photo editing tools from an old picture of Priyanka, her face has been superimposed on another photo. You can see the original picture below, in which she is wearing a red saree.
Vishwas News contacted Priyanka Chaturvedi regarding this picture. She told that this picture is fake and she has never worn such a Kurti.
Chaturvedi said: "I have many times publicly called such social media posts as fake. Still don't know why my fake photo is made viral. Some people do this for political gains."
Therefore, it is evident that the claim is false.
