HYDERABAD: A photo collage of Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is viral on social media. Users claim that the duo met post-Aryan Khan's arrest.

One image shows the duo together in a meditative position, while the other shows the actor's residence in Mumbai- Mannat. It is superimposed with a tweet written by Dorsey addressed to Khan. It reads, "knock-knock".

Netizens claim that while 'bhakts' on Twitter are boycotting SRK, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is meeting the actor at Mannat.

FACT CHECK:

The claim that the duo met recently is false.

NewsMeter performed an advanced Twitter search and found that the same images were posted by SRK and Dorsey in November 2018. On November 14, 2018, Dorsey posted a picture of Mannat with the text "knock-knock" and on November 15, 2018, SRK posted a picture of the two.

SRK tweeted: "Today @jack made me realize with his calm demeanor & composed nearly meditative mindset... 'that all Work and no Pray, would make Jack a dull boy'. Thx for dropping in & also team @Twitter for a lively evening. Have a happy stay in India."

Several media outlets like New Indian Express, Hindustan Times reported on the online banter and their meet up. In 2018, the Twitter CEO visited India and met important figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, and the Dalai Lama. He also met Bollywood figures like SRK and A. R. Rahaman.

Clearly, the viral collage of SRK and Dorsey is old. The duo did not meet post-Aryan Khan's arrest. Neither has Dorset commented on the issue.
