Hyderabad: Social media users are claiming that United States president Joe Biden has announced that Americans who did not get vaccinated before 2022 will be imprisoned.

Fact Check
The claim is False.
NewsMeter tried to search for reports that would prove the claim. However, we did not find any reports of Biden making such an announcement. A search of the White House's website did not mention imprisoning unvaccinated Americans.
We also searched Biden's verified social media accounts, but found no such announcement.
Biden administration has been actively working to get more Americans vaccinated against COVID-19, according to The New York Times. We found no such report about the president announcing any plan to imprison those who refuse to be vaccinated.
The screen grabbed article in the Facebook post appears to have been published by Value Walk, a website that provides unique coverage on hedge funds, large asset managers, and value investing. A clear disclaimer at the bottom of the article says, "This is a satirical article."
It is therefore evident that the claim made through the viral post is False. The viral claim is a screenshot of a satirical article.
