Fact Check
The claim is False.
NewsMeter searched for any reports published by the mainstream media about any such incident of burning of any petrol pump in Haryana. However, we could not find any such concrete information.
We then took a screengrab from the viral video and found this video in a flipped form on some Facebook and Instagram pages. The viral image, where the petrol pump is seen on the left, was uploaded on Iranian Facebook pages in June. The video has been flipped and gone viral.
We then performed another Google reverse image search.
We found a news article from YJC news in which a thumb image of the viral video was used. According to the news, this incident is on June 10, when a youth had set fire to a petrol pump after an altercation between a youth and a petrol pump worker in Rafsanjan, Iran.
It is therefore evident that the claim is False. The video is not from Haryana but Iran.
