Fact Check: Video of Nihang Sikhs vandalizing bus not related to farmers' protest
Hyderabad: A video showing a group Nihang Sikhs, wearing their characteristic blue robes, attacking a Punjab Road Transport Corporation bus has gone viral on social media with the claim that the incident is related to the ongoing farmers' protest.
A Twitter user shared the video with the caption, "बड़े धैर्य के साथ देश देख रहा है ये सब कुछ... सिर्फ करने वालों को नहीं... उनका साथ भी देने वालों को (The nation is watching these traitorous events closely, and the nation will neither forgive nor forget)."

The incident occurred in 2019 and is not related to the farmers' protest.
NewsMeter performed a search using the keywords 'Sikhs attacking PRTC bus' and found several reports. According to the reports, a PRTC bus travelling from Nakodar to Kapurthala hit one of the horses belonging to the Nihangs on the Sundar Bridge. Angry Nihang Sikhs attacked the bus with kirpans and spears.
Here is the video published by India News Punjab Live in September 2019.
The video shows the Nihangs arguing with the bus driver and then smashing the windows of the bus. The Nihangs also blocked the way as they vandalized the bus. The video does not clearly show whether there were passengers in the bus but we can see that the bus driver managed to escape with the vehicle.
The viral video is more than a year old and is NOT related to the ongoing farmers' protest. So, the claim is FALSE.
