Hyderabad: A video of a woman teaching "tapping" exercises has gone viral on social media with the claim that it is from Tata Memorial Hospital.
In the video, the woman talks about the benefits of tapping on the head, forehead, and neck.

The claim that the video is from the Tata Memorial Hospital is MISLEADING.
NewsMeter extracted keyframes from the video and performed a Google reverse image search. We found that the woman in the video is Dr. Manishaa from Perfect Health Clinic, Hyderabad.
According to the clinic's website omsairamperfecthealth.com, she is a well-known dietician from Hyderabad. She started her clinic in 1995 and from 2005 she started working on acupressure diet therapy.
The website also mentions the treatments based on acupressure-based diet therapy. The diet plan is meant for those who wish to lose/gain weight quickly in a healthy way.
The Facebook page 'The Perfect Health, Hyderabad' has several videos of Dr. Manishaa teaching exercises and techniques to her patients.

We also found the viral video of Dr. Manishaa on the clinic's Facebook page that was posted with the caption, "Acupressure Garba for fitness, Science explained #theperfecthealth".
We contacted the hospital but could not get any official clarification from them.
Hence, the video of Hyderabad-based acupressure therapist and dietician is being shared with a MISLEADING narrative.
