FACT CHECK:

The claim that Muslim commuters were spitting on fellow passengers inside a metro train in Paris is false.

NewsMeter performed a reverse image search and found a report on a Romanian website that carried images from the video. It states that two groups of Dinamo and Steaua fans gathered in front of the Dinamo stadium. Later, a conflict broke out between the police and the fans and two gendarmes were hit at the Ştefan cel Mare metro station.

Upon searching the location of the Ștefan cel Mare metro station, we found that the incident took place in Bucharest, Romania.

We also found a YouTube video in October 2020, with the title "Romania 02.10.2020: Clashes between hooligans and police in Bucharest."

A Romania-based football journalist Emanuel Roşu also tweeted the video on October 2, 2020, and claimed that a fight broke out at the metro in Bucharest.

Therefore it is clear that the video doesn't represent Muslims spitting at commuters in a metro in Paris. Hence, the claim is false.
