HYDERABAD: A picture of a building with "Jay Bhim" scribbled on it is viral on social media. Users claim that it is a library in the United States named after Dr. BR Ambedkar (Father of the Indian Constitution)

"This is the outside view of Babasaheb library in the US," reads the caption of the image

FACT CHECK:

NewsMeter found out the claim is false as the image has been morphed. It is the building of an architecture company.

A closer look at the image shows that the board "Jay Bhim" as well as the photo of Ambedkar is morphed.

With a reverse image search, we found the same image without the "Jay Bhim" board on Pinterest, an image-sharing site. The description reads, "Vincent Callebaut has revealed proposed plans to transform a once industrial area of Brussels into a mixed-use eco-neighborhood".

We also found the same image on the website of an architecture company, Vincent Callebaut Architectures. According to the website, Vincent Callebaut Architectures is "referenced as the best eco-prospective and visionary architectural firm by the Time Magazine imagining fantastical projects that address the world's environmental and social ills".

We also found similar images on the Instagram account of Vincent Callebaut who is an Architectural designer.

The image is that of a work-in-progress building for residential and commercial purposes at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, Belgium.

Evidently, the claim of the words "Jay Bhim" written on a library in the United States named after Dr. BR Ambedkar is false. The image is morphed and not related to the library.
