Hyderabad: A video showing a Muslim couple helping an old man is being widely shared on social media.
The video shows an old man and a kid walking along a footpath. After a while, the man faints and falls down. The kid seeks help from a Muslim couple who tries to save the old man. A text accompanying the viral video reads, "A Muslim couple helped an elderly."

The claim is false.
NewsMeter performed a Google reverse image search that led us to a longer version of the video uploaded on the Facebook page 'Sanjjanaa Galrani' on 16 March 2022.
At the 3.22-minute mark, a text appears that reads, "Irrespective of caste and religion, put humanity first and help the people who are in need. Thank you for watching. Please be aware that this page features scripted dramas and parodies as well. These short films are for educational purposes only."
Hence, the claim made through the viral post is false. The viral video of a Muslim couple helping an old man is scripted.
