Fact Check:

NewsMeter performed a Google reverse image search and found that the video was shared by a YouTuber, Mark Martin, with the title "Hognose hits the high notes" and "Singing snake strikes again" in May this year.

Though we could not confirm where the video was taken, it is certainly not shot in Karimnagar.

Local SI Vivek has also rubbished these claims. According to reports, he clarified that the person who uploaded the video on social media is being investigated and that people need not worry about the video.

We also found another video with similar visuals where the same snake tries to bite a person's hand. However, we hear no "screaming" sounds when the snake opens its mouth.

Hence, the claim that the viral video of a shouting snake is from Karimnagar in Telangana is false.
