A video is in circulation claiming that students were expelled because they were cheating in the exams.
This video has been shared with the caption: "Bihar board expelled students jail jaate huye (sic)"
The claim that students were expelled in 2021 is MISLEADING.
When searched, we found that the video is an old one. When the extracted keyframes from the video were searched using Google Reverse Search, we found several videos posted in 2017.
We found a YouTube video titled `Nawada Seth Sagar Mahila college expelled 36 students during inter exam in February 2017'.
When searched for reports on Seth Sagar Mahila College, we found several reports on Hindi media websites.
According to a report in `livehindustan.com', the examination of Physics, Yoga and Physical Education held at Seth Sagarmal Aggarwal Women's College Center in Nawada was canceled. A case of mass misconduct has been witnessed at this center. When DM reached the center, 32 students were caught misbehaving in a class, who were expelled later.
Bihar Board has taken serious note of the misconduct at Seth Sagarmal Aggarwal Women's College Center in Nawada District. There will be no further examination at this center. 32 students were expelled due to misconduct.
Therefore, the viral video is NOT recent. It is from 2017. The claim is FALSE.
