Fact Check: Woman with Delhi CM Kejriwal in viral photo is AAP supporter Ankita Shah, not lawyer Nikita Jacob
A photo of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with party supporter Ankita Shah has gone viral on social media.

Hyderabad: A photo of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with party supporter Ankita Shah has gone viral on social media. However, the girl in the photo has been misidentified as lawyer Nikita Jacob who is involved in the controversial "Toolkit" document case related to the farmers' protest.
A Twitter user shared the photo and wrote, "What's going on Arvind Kejriwal? Nikita Jacob and you is there something fishy behind it? (sic)"

NewsMeter found that the claim that the woman in the viral image is lawyer Nikita Jacob is FALSE.
We searched for images of Nikita Jacob online and found that they do not match the photo of the girl in the viral image. Below is a comparison of the two:
We then performed a reverse search and found the viral image on Facebook and Twitter pages of Ankita Shah. The photo is from 2019 and the caption read, " Finally met my favorite @ArvindKejriwal."
Preeti Sharma Menon, the national executive member of the Aam Aadmi Party, also tweeted that the claim is false and that the woman in the viral image is indeed Ankita Shah. Apart from this, Shah retweeted all the tweets by media organizations that had debunked the claim.
Evidently, the viral image shows Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with AAP supporter Ankita Shah and not lawyer Nikita Jacob. Hence, the claim is FALSE.
