Hyderabad: A notification reportedly issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has gone viral. It claims that CBSE will announce the class 10 and 12 board results on 11 May 2023.

We ran a keyword search and found a tweet by the official Twitter handle of CBSE calling the notification fake.
According to Hindustan Times, āCBSE spokesperson Rama Sharma says a notice in circulation regarding date on declaration of 10th, 12th results is fake.ā
The Times of India reported that the results are in the final stage of preparation and are expected to be announced this week.
Lalit K. Kapil, regional officer (RO), CBSE, Prayagraj told TOI, āCBSE never declares the date of results in advance. But we would like to tell that the process of preparing the results of both classes is in the final stages and would be announced very soon.ā
Hence, we conclude that the viral notification is fake and the claim that CBSE will announce the class 10 and 12 board results on 11 May is false.
