On performing a reverse image search of the videoā€™s keyframe, we found over a seven-minute-long film published on YouTube by a channel called ā€˜ps creationsā€™ on 16 April 2022. The viral clip in the film appears around the 4.30-minute time mark.

The caption states that the video shows an emotional short film.

The fact-check unit of the Telangana government also took to Twitter to call out the user sharing the video. It said crops were damaged in many places in Telangana due to untimely rainfall. However, this video, which is being shared as the grief of a farmer who has lost his crop, is from a short film.

The viral clip does not show the tragedy of real framers from Telangana. Hence, we conclude that the claim is false.
