Fact check

NewsMeter found that the viral video is heavily edited.

On performing the simple reverse image search, we found the original video on a verified Twitter handle with the username GOAL. On carefully analyzing the video, we found that it is completely different from the viral video.

In the original version, you can see Cristiano Ronaldo and his son Mateo, having a good time in a normal pool on the ground floor, unlike the viral one.

On performing a simple reverse image search, we found multiple explanations that show comparisons between the viral edited versions and the original video.

Moreover, we also found an article on asTV, published on July 13, 2023, titled ‘Watch Cristiano Ronaldo throw Sun out of rooftop pool in a crazy edited video.’ The slug of the report reads, ‘At first glance it’s scary, but we can confirm that no Ronaldo offspring were harmed in the making of this viral clip.’

A comparison of both clips can be seen below.

Hence, it is evident that the viral video of Ronaldo and his son is edited.
