Hyderabad: Social media users are claiming that Lucknow girl who slapped a cab driver has been arrested.
"Lucknow girl finally arrested," reads the post.
We came across several other Facebook posts with the similar claim.
Fact Check:
The claim is false. The video claiming the arrest of Lucknow girl Priyadarshini Narayan Yadav is actually a video clipping of the arrest of Rajasthan Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary.
Who is Priyadarshini Naryan Yadav?
Recently, a video of Priyadarshini Naryan Yadav slapping a cab driver in the middle of Lucknow road went viral on social networking sites. The video was found to be very disturbing and people started saying that the woman attacked the cab driver for no reason and netizens called for her arrest.
News Meter came across several YouTube channels which posted the same video.
In the YouTube videos, we found similar keyframes. The woman in the video is 'Rajasthan don' Anuradha Chaudhary, an associate of notorious gangster Kala Jathedi and not the Lucknow girl Priyadarshini Naryan Yadav.
We also came across an article by India Today which confirmed that Lucknow police has not arrested.
On conducting a reverse image search, we came across an article by sinceindependence.com which stated: "Woman don Anuradha Chaudhary alias Anurag alias Madam Minz, was arrested from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh". In this article, we found a similar image to the keyframe of the viral video.

Conclusion: The claim is false. The girl in the viral video is not Priyadarshini Narayan Yadav, but Rajasthan Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary.
