On performing a reverse image search, we found the image posted by several Twitter users in 2017, saying it shows The Great Ethiopian Run in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. (Click here and here to see the posts.)
Further, we also found the image in an article by CNN Travel from 2017. The photo is credited to the Eithopia tourism organisation, and the description reads, āThe annual Great Ethiopian Run in Addis Ababa is popular among tourists.ā
We also found the image published by CNN in 2016. It said the photo shows the annual Great Ethiopian Run in Addis Ababa.
Finally, we found the image posted by a Facebook account, Tangible Ethiopia Tourism & Environment for Social Change, in 2015. āThe Great Ethiopian Run is Africaās biggest running event, attracting more than 39,000 thousand (sic) of people across Africa and around the globe to historic Addis Ababa each yearā¦,ā reads the caption.
