The heroics of Mohammed Siraj against Srilanka in the Asia Cup final will be etched in history. His career-best bowling figures, taking six wickets for just 21 runs, helped India to the title, dismissing the host Sri Lanka for just 50 runs, winning the game by ten wickets.
Now, netizens have shared an image of Siraj’s ecstatic celebration, which shows him jumping to unreal heights. An X user posted the image with the caption, “What a lovely picture! Siraj was at a completely different level on the day of the final @mdsirajofficial.”

NewsMeter found that the image is morphed.
On performing a reverse image search, we found the original image posted on the verified Instagram account of Siraj on September 17. The original image does not show an extra jump.
Here is a comparison of real and morphed images.
Further, on closely examining the image, we found duplication of the same crowd multiple times, which confirms that the viral image showing the unreal leap has been morphed.
Hence, we conclude that the viral image showing Siraj's celebration with an extra leap is morphed.
