Fact Check

NewsMeter found that the images have been generated using the AI tool Midjourney.

In the viral images, we noticed the text that read ā€œexclusive by midjourney.ā€

On magnifying the image, we found that Mr. Khanā€™s leg has more than five toes in one of the images ā€” a common error in AI-generated images.

(The image shows more than five toes in the leg.)

In the second image, we noticed that Mr. Khanā€™s hands seem to have merged into each other.

From this, we conclude that the viral images of Imran Khan are AI-generated and does not the first images of him from jail. Hence, the claim is false.
