Hyderabad: A video of a murder confession is doing the rounds of social media. In the horrifying viral video, a man confesses to his crime and warns people not to cheat on their partner or else they will end up dead.

In the shocking video posted on social media, Abhijit says, "Bewafai nahi karne ka (Do not be unfaithful)." He then lifts a blanket to reveal a woman lying in bed with her throat slit.

"Do not cheat…this is the result of infidelity," he says.

Days after the incident, social media users are sharing the video with a communal angle, alleging love jihad.

According to an ANI report, "The accused has been identified as Hemant Rajendra Badhane, a resident of Nashik, Maharashtra. Earlier, the accused mention his fake name, Abhijeet Patidar while staying at Mekhla resort in Jabalpur on November 6. He also submitted his fake identity proof in the hotel."

The report also said that 37 cases were already registered against Hemant in Nashik in connection with theft and others.

We then ran a keyword search that led us to a report by NDTV that confirmed the identity of the murderer. "The accused, who had initially presented himself as Abhijit Patidar from Bihar, has now been identified as Hemant Bhadane, 29, from Maharashtra," it said.

From the above investigation, it is evident that the accused who brutally slit a woman's throat in the name of infidelity is not a Muslim. There is no communal angle.
