HYDERABAD: Social media users are sharing a video claiming that suspended Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Nupur Sharma chanted "Jai Hind!" to counter the backslash.
The caption of the video reads, "Celebrating Republic Day and URI - The Surgical Strike with old college friends!" Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal were also tagged in the tweet.
The film "Uri: The Surgical Strike" revolves around the plot of the Indian Army leading a covert operation against a group of militants who attacked a base in Uri, Kashmir, in 2016 and killed many soldiers.
Nupur Sharma shared the same video on Facebook with a similar caption.
An old video is being falsely shared against the backdrop of Sharma's controversial remarks on the Prophet Muhammad.
