FACT CHECK:

A reverse image search led to finding the original video on Sharma's verified Twitter account. The video was tweeted on Republic day, 26 January 2019. Sharma was celebrating the release of the movie 'URI: TheSurgicalStrik'e with old college friends.

The caption of the video reads, "Celebrating Republic Day and URI - The Surgical Strike with old college friends!" Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal were also tagged in the tweet.

The film "Uri: The Surgical Strike" revolves around the plot of the Indian Army leading a covert operation against a group of militants who attacked a base in Uri, Kashmir, in 2016 and killed many soldiers.

Nupur Sharma shared the same video on Facebook with a similar caption.

An old video is being falsely shared against the backdrop of Sharma's controversial remarks on the Prophet Muhammad.
