HYDERABAD: A picture of TRS MLC Jeevan Reddy protesting against KCR in connection with the purchase of paddy, is being shared on Whatsapp.

NewsMeter found the original picture shared by Jeevan Reddy on Facebook on 11 April 2022. The placard upon translation loosely reads, "Mixing politics with the lives of farmers? Shame on you."
Jeevan Reddy had attended the 'Maha Dharna' organized by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in Delhi for farmers. The TRS dharna in Delhi was aimed to secure nationwide support. The streets surrounding Telangana Bhavan where the dharna was held, were filled with flex boards and pink flags. The hoardings were put up. Protestors were demanding a uniform national policy for foodgrain procurement. Dharna was attended by the entire Cabinet of Telangana along with TRS MPs, legislators, and other elected representatives. (Read more here)
