Fact Check: Jeremy Corbyn holding Palestinian flag with Nazi sign on it is morphed
The original image shows Jermy Corbyn holding the Palestinian flag which does not have the Nazi symbol on it.

Hyderabad: An image of a British politician and Labour Party leader Jermy Corbyn posing with a man holding the Palestinian flag which has a Nazi sign imprinted on it, is going viral on social media.
Several X users have shared the image. One of the X premium users shared the image with the caption, āA picture or in this case a photo, Paints a Thousand words!!! (sic)ā
Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the original image shows Jermy Corbyn holding the Palestinian flag which does not have the Nazi symbol on it.
On performing a reverse image search, we found the screengrab of the original image on X, posted by a user on October 14, 2023. The screengrab also showed the original image posted by an X handle called @SocialistLew.
Taking this cue, we looked for the handle @SocialistLew and found the original image posted by the account on the same date captioned āFree, free Palestine.ā

The account also posted another image of Jermy Corbyn with the same man on the right side, holding the Palestinian flag. This image also does not show a Nazi sign imprint. In the caption, the account mentioned a march on November 11 which they said will continue till there is a ceasefire in Gaza.

Further, we ran an advance search on X and found a post by Jermy Corbyn from October 14, mourning the loss of innocent Israeli and Palestinian lives.

Corbyn also posted an image of the November 11 March captioned āCeasefire now.ā
Hence, we conclude that the viral image showing Jermy Corbyn with the Palestinian flag with a Nazi sign on it is morphed.
