Man dancing to 'tip tip barsa pani' is not Pakistani MNA Aamir Liaquat

Users claim the man in the video is Aamir Liaquat Husain, a member of the Pakistan National Assembly.

A video has garnered over 438k views. One Twitter user commented, "Wow @AamirLiaquat that's an amazing dance moves, couldn't believe you are so good at it . Good on you man", while another identified the man as "Aamir Liaquat"

Multiple news organizations such as ANI, Amar Ujala, and Jagran published news stories claiming the same. ANI captioned the image, "Pakistan national assembly member dances to Indian hit song 'Tip tip barsa paani'."

Few users wrote to NewsMeter that the man in the video is not Aamir Liaquat Husain, but choreographer Shoaib Shakoor.

Using the hints provided by the Twitter users, NewsMeter found the same video uploaded on a Facebook page 'HS Studio by Bilal Saeed', a Lahore-based wedding photography studio. This page identified the man as "@shoaibshakoor"

Upon checking Shakoor's profile on Instagram, which describes him as a 'choreographer, performer, we found the same video posted on January 4.

Evidently, a video of a choreographer dancing to a Bollywood track is being falsely shared as Pakistan MP Aamir Liaquat Husain.
