NewsMeter ran a reverse search and found an article by 'The New Indian Express' uploaded on January 31, 2016. The title of the report read, "pictures of boy burning tricolor go viral."
According to the report, the man seen in a viral post is Dhilipan Mahendran from Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. A pilot filed a complaint with police to take action against the youth when he saw the viral post.
