By Satya Priya BN Published on 10 July 2021 10:11 AM ISTA video has been posted on Facebook with a claim that "McDonald's is giving experimental MRNA inoculations to children".
Some posts also shared the screenshot of the video with the claim.
The audio shares the story of Joshua, a 13-year-old kid, who is happy to get free lunch along with the vaccination shot.
This getting ridiculously stupid now. McDonald's giving away free combo meals to children who get the experimental death shot. I wouldn't want to eat a McDonald's if they offered it for free. ⚠️ pic.twitter.com/4MRJPLvhgQ

Fact Check:
The claim is MISLEADING.
McDonald's partnered with the California Department of Public Health to have pop-up clinics at more than 70 locations in the state starting June 21, 2021. Those who receive the vaccine will also receive a coupon for one menu item free of charge
According to camcdevents.com, pop-up clinics at McDonald's restaurants are offering free vaccinations at 70+ locations in the state of California. These restaurants are offering COVID-19 vaccines to their employees, their family members, and the general public.
People who receive a vaccine at McDonald's will also get a coupon for one FREE menu item as a thank you for doing their part. No appointment or health insurance is required and walk-ups are welcome at all locations.
The website even lists out the restaurant outlets in North and South California, where vaccination is available.
In the USA, children above the age of 12 years are being vaccinated in these Mcdonald's restaurants. The child seen in the video is 13-year-old according to the voiceover.
The restaurant outlet has partnered with the Biden administration in providing trusted and independent information about COVID-19 vaccines. The initiative began with COVID-19 information on a McDonald's Billboard at Times Square and will continue into July 2021 with text on McCafe cups and McDelivery seal stickers advising customers to visit "vaccines.gov", which provides information on COVID-19 and how to find a vaccine nearby.
The US government has authorized the Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for emergency use.
So, the vaccinations being offered in the McDonald's outlets of California are NOT experimental. It is an authentic government-approved vaccinations in collaboration with the California Department of public health.
This claim has been debunked by Reuters and also THIP
Hence, the claim that McDonald's is giving 'Experimental' vaccines is MISLEADING.
