Morphed image show MS Dhoni meeting injured Rishabh Pant in hospital
A video containing several images of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rishabh Pant is doing the rounds on social media.

Hyderabad: A video containing several images of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rishabh Pant is doing the rounds on social media. One of the images shows Dhoni meeting Pant in a hospital.
It is being claimed that Dhoni visited Pant after the latter met with an accident.
Facebook users shared the video and wrote, "MS Dhoni met Rishabh Pant in Uttarakhand, Pant became emotional after seeing Mahi Bhai."
On 30 December 2022, Pant escaped a deadly accident on a highway in Uttarakhand. The 25-year-old Indian wicketkeeper underwent knee surgery on 6 January 2023 at a private hospital in Mumbai. He is under the supervision of the medical team and is recovering fast, ANI reported.

NewsMeter found that the image of Dhoni meeting Pant is morphed. We also did not find any news reports of Dhoni meeting Pant after his accident.
On performing a reverse image search of the viral photo, we found the original photo published by several news websites. The original photo shows Shah Rukh Khan meeting a child in a hospital. According to a report in Qatar Tribune published on 17 May 2017, the Bollywood actor paid a surprise visit to Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital in keeping with the spirit of the UAE Year of Giving. During the visit, he met the kids admitted to the hospital and inquired about their health.
On 9 May 2017, the Government of Dubai Media Office had also posted images of SRK's visit to Al Jalila Hospital. According to the caption, "SRK toured the hospital, getting a first-hand insight into its ultramodern facilities and spent time meeting some of its young inpatients and enquiring about their well-being."
The Peninsula Qatar also carried the original image in an article published on 17 May 2017.
It is evident that the viral image of Dhoni with Pant is morphed. Also, we did not find any reports of Dhoni visiting Pant in the hospital after his accident. Hence, we conclude that the claim is false.
