Hyderabad: An image with a painting depicting a scene from the Mahabharata epic, on the wall during the G20 summit meeting between prime minister Narendra Modi and US president Joe Biden in New Delhi, is viral on social media. The painting shows Lord Krishna riding a chariot, driven by one of the Pandava brothers, Arjuna.
An Instagram user shared the image with the caption, āFrom I.N.D.I.A to BHARAT, change is now clearly visible. (sic)ā

NewsMeter found that the image is morphed. The original image does not show any such painting.
On performing a reverse image search, we found the image posted by X premium user Krishna. In his X bio, Krishna mentioned that he āphotoshop pics for PUN.ā
Taking this cue, we checked the official X handle of PM Modi and found the original image along with three other images posted on September 8, 2023. The original image only had a blank wall behind Modi and Biden.
