NewsMeter found that the photo has been morphed.
Upon running a reverse image search, we found a similar image on the stock photography website Alamy from 29 June 2021. However, it showed Yogi Adityanath paying a floral tribute to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkarās portrait. The image also shows former President Ram Nath Kovind and others on the stage, as seen in the viral photo.
The description of the photo reads, āChief Minister Yogi Adityanath pays floral tribute to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar during the foundation stone for Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial and Cultural Centre in the presence of Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, at Lok Bhawan, on June 29, 2021, in Lucknow, India.ā
