Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the viral photo has been morphed and the original photo shows Yogi Adityanath watching a FIFA World Cup match.
On performing a reverse image search of the viral photo, we found the original photo on Yogi Adityanath's official Twitter page. The caption read "#FIFAWorldCup." It is clear that he is watching a football match on TV and not Shah Rukh Khan.
We also ran a keyword search about SRK representing India at the FIFA World Cup final and found he was part of the live pre-match show but was not representing India. According to The Economic Times, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone went to the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar to promote their upcoming movie 'Pathaan.'
We also found the video of the live pre-match show published by Jio Cinema on 18 December. In this video, at around the 3.6-minute mark, we found the same frame of SRK that has been morphed on Yogi Adityanath's TV screen in the viral post.
It is evident that the viral photo of Yogi Adityanath watching SRK on television is morphed. Also, there are no reports that confirm SRK was representing India at the FIFA World Cup final. Hence, we conclude that the photo along with the claim is misleading.
