Fact Check:

NewsMeter found that the claim is false.

Since the video featured the ANI logo, a reverse image search of the video led to the ANI News X account, where they posted the original video. This report stated that the six individuals accused in the NEET UG paper leak case were taken from LNJP hospital in Patna after undergoing a medical examination. The report specified that the Bihar Police had arrested the accused in Deoghar, Jharkhand, on June 21.

A keyword search revealed an ‘India Today’ report with the caption “Six arrested from Jharkhand in NEET exam paper leak case”. According to this report, the arrests occurred at a house near AIIMS in Deoghar. This information directly contradicted the viral claims, as it placed the location of the arrests at a residential property and not a political office.

Further, Newsmeter compared Google images of LNJP hospital with the visuals in the viral video. The comparison clearly showed that the location in the video matched the hospital's environment.

Hence the claim that the NEET UG exam paper leak accused were hiding in the Congress office is false. The video shows the accused being taken away from a hospital.
