Fact Check

NewsMeter found that the text of the graphic has been digitally altered.

We checked the social media handles of Dainik Jagran and came across the identical graphic with different text posted by the newspaper on Instagram on March 16, 2023.

The text on the original graphic said, “A child’s laughter will soon echo in Sana Khan's house as she reveals her pregnancy in an interview.”

Here is the comparison of the original and altered graphic.

Hence, we conclude that the viral graphic of Dainik Jagran has been digitally altered and is misleading.

On 19 March, Khan announced her pregnancy on Instagram.
