A keyword search led us to the YouTube channel 'JJPD Productions' that had shared the video with the description, "These are paranormal videos created by us to entertain. All images shown are fictional. CGI Video (Computer Generated Image) Design and Creation of the Mermaid in 3D: Joaquín Pérez 3D Animation and VFX Edition." This proves that the video does not show a real mermaid.

The existence of mermaids is still a mystery. According to an article titled "Are mermaids real?" found on the US National Ocean Service website, "No evidence of aquatic humanoids has ever been found. Why, then, do they occupy the collective unconscious of nearly all seafaring peoples? That's a question best left to historians, philosophers, and anthropologists."
