This image does not show Shah Rukh Khan stopped at the Mumbai Airport
An image of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan being frisked by security personnel at an airport is circulating online with the claim that the image was recently taken at the Mumbai airport.

Hyderabad: An image of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan being frisked by security personnel at an airport is circulating online with the claim that the image was recently taken at the Mumbai airport.
A Twitter user shared the image and wrote (translated tweet), "This Pathan has turned out to be a custom thief. This picture is a testimony that India is changing. This man who is standing like a common man in front of the police with his hand held high is called Badshah. No one would have imagined the police behaving this way with Shah Rukh Khan in India, that too in Mumbai." (Archive)

The claim comes after news of the Bollywood star being stopped at the Mumbai airport by Customs officials. However, according to ANI, Shah Rukh Khan's bodyguard, Ravi Singh, was stopped by the Customs department's Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) for violating Customs rules and they did not stop Shah Rukh Khan.
In this article, we are only fact-checking the viral image.
Fact Check
NewsMeter performed a reverse image search and found a video uploaded on YouTube in March 2019 which is identical to the viral image. In the video, Mr. Khan can be seen wearing the same t-shirt and being frisked by security personnel at a checkpoint.
For further confirmation, we have highlighted the similarities in the collage below.
We also found a longer video showing similar visuals posted by the Shah Rukh Khan Fan Club Twitter account on 28 March 2019. According to the account, the video was recorded at Kolkata airport when Mr. Khan was leaving for Mumbai after an IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Kings Eleven Punjab (KXIP).
Further, we found a video posted by Shah Rukh on 28 March 2019 cheering for his team KKR at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. He is donning the same attire as seen in the viral image.
According to ESPN Cricinfo, Kolkata Knight Riders played against Kings XI Punjab on 27 March 2019 and won the match by 28 runs.
It is evident that the viral image dates back to 2019. Hence, the claim that it shows Shah Rukh Khan being stopped at the Mumbai airport by the police recently is misleading.
