Fact Check

NewsMeter performed a reverse image search of the keyframes of the video and found that it was posted by the verified Twitter handle, Beautiful China, on 10 July 2021. According to the caption, the video is from "E China's Jiangxi." During the flood season, a section of Yongxiu-Wuchenga road was inundated when the water level exceeded over 18.67 meters.

The video was also posted by the verified Facebook page of People's Daily China, a Chinese government-controlled media. It also mentioned that the video is from E China's Jiangxi when a section of Yongxiu-Wucheng Road was submerged in water during the flood season.

We also found an article stating that the Yongxiu-Wucheng Road passing through Poyang lake gets submerged in water with the onset of the rainy season becoming "the most beautiful road under the water."

Hence, the claim that the video is from India is false.
