Old image of helicopter crash passed off as Kedarnath accident
An image of a helicopter exploding mid-air is being shared. Users claim it to be the visual of the Kedarnath chopper crash.

Hyderabad: On October 18, a chopper carrying pilgrims from Kedarnath temple to Guptkashi crashed into a hill due to poor visibility. All seven people, including a pilot, lost their lives in the accident.
Against this backdrop, an image of a helicopter exploding mid-air is being shared. Users claim it to be the visual of the Kedarnath chopper crash.
Rahul Gurjar, a BJP leader shared the image and wrote, "The news of helicopter crash, carrying pilgrims to Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand, is disturbing."

Fact Check
