The India tour of the Canadian singer Shubhneet Singh (Shubh) was cancelled by BookMyShow over his alleged support for Khalistan and separatists. Now, an image of the singer featured on New York’s famous Times Square billboard has gone viral, with social media users claiming it to be recent.
Several Facebook users have shared the image.

NewsMeter found that Subh's image did feature on a Times Square billboard in 2022.
We noticed the website name "kidaan.com" on the viral image. With this cue, we ran a relevant keyword search and across an article from October 1, 2022, titled “Punjabi Singer Shubh Features On Times Square Billboard, New York.” The Chandigarh-based website publishes news related to the Punjabi entertainment industry and Bollywood.
Another website, Punjabi Film, also reported about Subh featuring on the Times Square billboard in 2022.
Further, we found Subh posted his image featured on a Times Square billboard on Instagram on October 1, 2022.
Hence, we conclude that after the controversy over Subh’s alleged support for Khalistan and the cancellation of his India tour, the old image of the Canada-based rapper featured on New York’s famous Times Square billboard is being shared as his recent feat.
