Fact Check

NewsMeter found that the viral clip is from an interview of SRK given to film trade analyst Komal Nahta in 2016 before the release of `Fan'.

On performing a reverse image search of the video's keyframe, we found another clip of the interview posted by Zee5 on Facebook on 15 April 2016. According to the caption, SRK talked about Fan during this interview with Komal Nath.

Taking a cue from this, we searched for the full interview and found it published on Daily Motion in 2016. In this video, after 33.45 minutes, Komal Nahta asks SRK about the social boycott against his previous film `Dilwale'. He sportingly replies that if a film does not do well as expected, these campaigns can be used as an excuse.

And at around 34.50 minutes SRK said: "This wind (boycott campaign) cannot shake me; only leaves get shaken by the wind."

The viral clip of SRK is from a 2016 interview. Hence, we conclude that the viral clip is being falsely linked to 'Pathaan' to mislead people.
