HYDERABAD: A picture of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia at a wedding reception is being shared online. Users claim that this is a recent photo from Gandhi's Nepal visit.
Gandhi visited Kathmandu to attend the wedding of one of his Nepali friends, Sumanima Udas. Netizens claim that the picture shows the duo attending this wedding's reception.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Sevadal shared the picture with a caption, "Mr @RahulGandhi Ji at his friend's wedding ceremony in Nepal.
Other social media users have tweeted, "Union Minister Scindia also attended the wedding in Nepal. Rahul Gandhi too was there."

NewsMeter performed a reverse image search and found the same picture carried by multiple media outlets from October 2011. According to Hindustan Times, Rahul Gandhi and Jyotiraditya Scindia attended the wedding reception of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and Queen Jetsun Pema at the Changlimithang Stadium at Thimpu, Bhutan.
Stock image website, Alamy, also captioned the image and indicated that the picture was taken during wedding celebrations at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu on October 15, 2011. The picture shows King Wangchuck, his wives, Rahul Gandhi Jyotiraditya Scindia, and his wife Priyadarshini Scindia.
`OK Nation' carried the same picture in its report. "AICC India's General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and MoS Jyotiraditya Scindia along with former King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck of Bhutan during a royal wedding ceremony for King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and Queen Jetsun Pema at Chang Stadium. Lime Thang in Thimphu, Bhutan," it wrote.
The picture is not from Gandhi's recent visit to Nepal.
