Old video of Police kicking youth falsely shard as terrorist caught in Kashmir

Video of a security personnel vehicle chasing a biker followed by personnel coming down from the vehicle and kicking the biker is viral on social media, with social media users claiming it to be from Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir. A twitter user I_krishd has shared the video with the caption “Salute this Indian police officer and his courage and fabulous kick. He is the real hero. #Terrorist caught in #SriNagar, #Kashmir”,
Several other users have shared the video with the same claim.

Fact Check
To ascertain whether the video is from Srinagar, NewsMeter first conducted a google search on the keywords related to the arrest of militant/ terrorist in Srinagar but found no recent update on the same. We then fragmented the viral video into keyframes and performed reverse image search on few keyframes.
During the investigation we came across a video published on finofilipino.org website dated February 14, 2022 under a Spanish title ‘Los policías brasileños no se andan con chiquitas’, which roughly translates ‘Brazilian police officers don't mess with little girls’. Here it was confirmed that the video is old and from Brazil not Srinagar.
On continuing our investigation, we found the same video on Daily Motion captioning ‘After police pursuit, teenager collided motorcycle against PM viatura and fell into the car, and ended up arrested’ in Portuguese language. The video was uploaded 2 years back.
We then conducted a google search on the same keywords and found a report published by obemdito-com dated August 2, 2021, carrying the same video.
‘A video circulating on social media shows the moment a teenager falls off his motorcycle in downtown Pérola Brazil. After colliding with the police car, he tries to flee, but is restrained by Military Police (PM) teams’, the report stated.
Conclusion
Hence, we conclude that the viral video is old from Perola Brazil and not from Srinagar J&K.
