A 2014 report by The Guardian also reported that the 25-year-old Palestinian news cameraman, Khaled Hamad, was killed in Gaza, reportedly during Israeli artillery shelling of the cityās Shujayea residential district.
A report by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said more than 60 Palestinians and 13 Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes between Israeli and Hamas forces in Shujayea. It also said Khaled Hamad was working on a film for the local Continue Production Films about the dangers that Palestinian medics face in Gaza.
