Fact Check

NewsMeter performed a reverse image search of the video's keyframes and found it uploaded on YouTube on 31 May 2022, titled "China and Indian Army fight at Pangong Lake Ladakh 2020".

India Today journalist Shiv Aroor also tweeted this video on 17 June 2020 and said that the video is from Pangong.

We also found the screenshots of the video in an article published by India Today on 1 June 2020. It said that the video is undated and is from the banks of Ladakh's Pangong Tso.

It is evident that the video has been on the Internet since 2020. Hence, the claim that the video shows the recent clash in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang is misleading.
