A video showing a scuffle between two groups in a large gathering is going viral on social media. Users claim it shows an attack on an Israeli officer.
The text in the video reads, “Israeli officer was beaten badly.”

NewsMeter found that the incident happened in Jordan’s Parliament in 2021.
On performing a reverse image search of the video’s keyframe, we found the video carried by The Guardian’s report titled “MPs push and shove in Jordan's Parliament”, published on December 29, 2021.
As per the report, a scuffle had broken out between Jordan’s lawmakers in the parliament while discussing a proposed amendment to the constitution.

Reuters also published the video on December 29, 2021, titled “Jordanian MPs brawl in parliament.”
“Live footage on state media showed several MPs punching each other in chaotic scenes that lasted a few minutes,” read the video’s description by the news agency.
Euro News also reported the incident with the same details.
Hence, we conclude that the video is old from Jordan and does not show an Israeli officer being beaten up. The claim is false.
